• The machines are prepared for use of 20" and 30" (50.8 cm and 76 cm), standard core, rolls of film. Inside the machine there is a hinge that can be easily adjusted to change the film from 20” to 30” and vice-versa. In both machines interchangeable use of film is standard without additional charge.
• The machines use high quality stretch film, preferably one side cling (stretchable to 280%). The use of film varies upon the dimensions of the luggage wrapped and number of wraps (minimum 2 recommended.
• Where available we recommend 30" - 76 cm film either 21 or 23 microns. It speeds up the wrapping of the baggage and allows easier wrap of the large loads. It also cost between 10 and 20% less per wrap than wrapping with 20" - 50.8 cm film. If no 30" film is available 20" - 21 or 23 microns will work as well as the wider film.
• From the experience of our customers one roll of film (30” - 76 cm) wraps between 500 - 750 average sized suitcases and it costs between 10 -20 cents US for a complete wrap. The prices of film depend on the oil prices since the film is made from oil - currently around 75-90 USD per roll of 1830m, 30”, stretchable to 4800 m.
• We can provide machines with lower stretch (e.g. 200%). However, the lower stretch means higher costs of wrapping. From our calculation machines with 200% stretch will cost ~ 2,500 USD per year MORE in extra costs of film in medium use operations as compared to 260%!

Warranty

OrionPP provides a 3 years / 5 years / life time warranty from delivery date of its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship as described below. This warranty assumes that normal service will be performed by the user. Structural components manufactured by OrionPP are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years and all other components for a period of 3 years from date of machine shipment. During the warranty period OrionPP will, at its option, either repair or replace any failed component.

Components not manufactured by OrionPP specified by the customer to be other than Orion standard brand are warranted by OrionPP to the extent that they are warranted by OrionPP's supplier of these items.

All polyurethane pre-stretch rollers carry a lifetime warranty and are guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship, and to perform to OrionPP standards in OrionPP film delivery systems which have been properly maintained. Rollers, shafts and cores are not warranted against physical damage, corrosion, abuse, or negligence. Wear parts such as e.g. belts, fuses, rubber rollers, light bulb, circuit breakers, brakes, motor brushes, slip ring brushes, etc. are excluded from this warranty.

Damage in transport

Damage in transport is the responsibility of the carrier and is not covered under our warranty.

Important exclusions

EXCEPT AS STATED HEREIN, ORIONPP MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND IN NO EVENT, SHALL BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ORIONPP MAKES NO WARRANTY AS TO FITNESS OF EQUIPMENT FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ORIONPP NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANYONE ELSE TO ASSUME FOR IT, ANY OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY RELATING TO ITS EQUIPMENT. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT WHICH, IN THE JUDGMENT OF ORIONPP, HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO INCORRECT VOLTAGE SUPPLY NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, TO MISUSE, NEGLECT, OR HAS BEEN REPAIRED OR ALTERED BY UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL. DEFECTIVE PARTS MUST BE RETURNED TO ORIONPP, FREIGHT PREPAID WITHIN 14 DAYS OF SHIPMENT OF THE REPLACEMENT PART. DEFECTIVE PARTS MUST BE RETURNED IN THEIR ORIGINAL STATE ALONG WITH A FULLY COMPLETED ORIONPP WARRANTY PARTS RETURN FORM. DEFECTIVE PARTS THAT HAVE BEEN DISASSEMBLED, DAMAGED DURING REMOVAL, OR OTHERWISE TAMPERED WITH WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY, UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING. ORIONPP'S SOLE OBLIGATION UNDER THIS WARRANTY WILL BE TO PROVIDE REPAIRS TO COMPONENTS OR REPLACEMENT PARTS, F.O.B. ORIONPP'S POINT OF SHIPMENT. ALL ASPECTS OF THE ABOVE STATED WARRANTY AND PROCEDURES RELATED TO ORDERING PARTS UNDER WARRANTY WILL BE UPHELD WITH NO EXCEPTIONS.
